Blog postK.M. Tremills recently challenged me to answer the following questions about my writing:
1. What are you currently working on?
I’m currently co-writing a retelling of the fairy tale, Bluebeard, with my sister Roberta Cottam. The book has just come back from the Beta readers this week and so we will begin the final rewrite. As well, I’m writing a series of short stories for a fairy-tale/myth retelling book I’m co-authoring with Roberta Cottam and Kate Tremills.11 months ago Read more -

Blog postFor me, holidays, at their core, are about gratitude.
And so today, I am grateful for these 10 books that influenced my life and my writing.
1. Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
One of the first books I remember my Grandma reading aloud to me in her smoker’s voice. Listening to her read is one of my favorite childhood memories. She gave me an Oxford English Press version of the book when I was 6 years old. I still have it to this day.
